  Cute tourist trap. Unfortunately, most of the activities/stores were closed, because it was off-season.
  
  We, my husband and I, ate at the restaurant "The Big Sombrero", and the food was good, EXCEPT FOR THE CHILI!!!!! I would've thought that a Mexican Restaurant would have an AWESOME chili. Instead, it was a bland meat and beans. It was VERY DISAPPOINTING... However, the tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, turkey club, big steak burger, and the breakfast burrito were EXCELLENT!!!!!!
  
  I hadn't been there since the summer of 1989, and it has EXPLODED since then...!!!
  
  I would encourage anyone who passes by there to MAKE THE TIME TO STOP THERE!!!!! It's a cute place, even with most of the stores/rides were closed down because it was off-season. I'm sure that it's even better when it's in-season, but even though most of the stores were closed, my husband, Mark Howard, and I still had a blast!!!!
  
  The tourist stores are a bit on the expensive side, but you can still find some cute little things at a reasonable price.
  
  So, if you DO stop by there, I can basically guarantee that you'll find something that will, at minimum, put a smile on your face!!!!!!

  Bathrooms​ worked just fine and were clean enough for such an old tourist stop. The atmosphere is still fun there even though it's seems almost always at a point of near dilapidation. It's a neat tourist/rest stop as you cross into South Carolina for any interstate travelers.
